Cycads are a type of small tree relating to tree ferns their apperance is like a tree fern but its fern like leaves are more straight than normal tree ferns and if its a baby it would look like a tree fern but its leaves are more wild than normal and its small trunk supports the middle of the plant which would eventually turn into a 1-2 metre sized pollen cone. a few years or months after that the trunk may grow taller pushing its leaves and its cone upward and it would maybe be 5-6 metres tall some do this but most don't
