Angiosperms are flower producing plants that both include trees and many types of tiny flowers that can be seen in gardens. One of the most well known angiosperm families are called  proteaceae, these species are mostly very small plants but some are trees. For example the hill banksia produces cone like flowers and it is a small tree roughly as tall as 2 metres.  A example of a small flower species thats in the proteaceae family is king protea which is a pretty flower and is also known as the giant protea.
